In my work as a learning designer and capability strategist, I am deeply committed to the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This approach ensures that learning experiences are accessible and effective for everyone, regardless of their individual needs or backgrounds. By focusing on a strengths-based approach, I aim to highlight and build upon the unique capabilities of each learner. This philosophy not only fosters inclusivity but also empowers individuals to reach their full potential, creating a more equitable learning environment for all.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Te Tiriti o Waitangi is a foundational element in my practice, guiding my dedication to culturally responsive learning design. I strive to honor the principles of partnership, protection, and participation, ensuring that my work respects and incorporates the diverse cultural perspectives of Aotearoa New Zealand. By embedding these principles into my learning strategies, I aim to create environments where all learners feel valued and respected, and where their cultural identities are acknowledged and celebrated.
